Our Company

Pollmeier is a family-owned business that was founded in 1987 as a factory for producing edge-glued panels for the furniture industry.

Today, the company has the three largest hardwood sawmills in Europe – equipped with the most modern equipment in the world. As an internationally recognized producer of quality lumber products, Pollmeier delivers panels to the European furniture industry, flooring to Europe and North America, and has worldwide markets for our lumber. Pollmeier is an engine of innovation, we even have our own company that develops and sells new types of machinery for the sawmill business. Altogether, the Pollmeier companies produce raw lumber, furniture panels, and flooring.

Quality is our credo from start to finish. As a supplier to the furniture industry, which is very demanding, we know what is important – and we apply these standards to our flooring too. A major advantage is that our flooring and panel factories are vertically integrated with our lumber sawmills. This guarantees that Pollmeier maintains 100% control over our supply of raw lumber, which allows us to maintain consistency in quality at all times. Our quality control throughout the entire process ensures that Pollmeier will always be able to offer some of the best milled, most consistent products to our customers.
